Cooking has been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Iran, I was mesmerised by watching my mother work her culinary magic, turning simple ingredients into dishes that were bursting with flavour and soul. This early exposure to the rich culinary traditions of Persian cuisine ignited my passion for cooking, leading me to pursue it professionally.
My journey began in Northern Iran, where I honed my skills in our family restaurant, immersing myself in the art of Persian cooking. Determined to expand my culinary horizons, I moved to the UK, where I furthered my education in Catering and Hospitality. During my time at college, I gained invaluable insights into global cuisines, restaurant operations, and advanced kitchen techniques, all of which have shaped my approach to cooking today.
As I continued to explore the world of food, I launched my blog, I Got It From My Maman, which deepened my understanding of the profound role that food plays in our lives. For me, food is not just about nourishment—it’s about connection. The right dish can evoke cherished childhood memories, offer comfort like a warm embrace, or ignite a sense of adventure and curiosity.
Today, I channel this passion into a range of services designed to help others experience the joy of cooking and the richness of Persian cuisine. I offer bespoke content creation for companies looking to showcase their products in innovative ways, recipe development that highlights the unique qualities of your ingredients, and restaurant menu innovation to elevate your dining offerings. Additionally, I provide intimate private events and exclusive cooking masterclasses, both online and in-person, where I guide you through the process of creating dishes that are as delightful to make as they are to eat.
